Lanvin ♥ H&M

In the same week that fashion media seem to be obsessed with Kate Moss’ final collection for Topshop another amazing collaboration is due to happen which I think deserves it’s own post. There were some tense feelings in the fashion community that a chain store such as H&M might take away some of Lanvin’s amazing uniqueness and leave us with that stale mass produced taste in our mouths. But of course all of those feelings washed away when the collection saw the light of day.

While I don’t fully “get” it, I love the use of the older model too.  The collection is full of ruffles but also features some wearable items for night and day. And there of course some fantastic accessories.

It wasn’t a concious decision to choose 6 items that nearly all coordinated in some way but I’m glad that the range is so versatile. If anything I think the long leather gloves will definitely be mine though, they’ll go perfect with my winter wardrobe.

The Launch video is truly brilliant though. I know this range will sell out rather easily though. It goes on sale in shops and online on 4th November. So maybe whilst you’re celebrating Butterfly Day you could take a look.
